Chat Commands

Chat Commands

There are a number of commands as listed below, which add functionality to the chat experience.

/cls - Clears the chat screen.
/join Roomname - Takes you to the roomname specified. You can use roomname:2 for example, to join the 2nd of that room.
/goto Username - Takes you to the username specified if they are online.
/think text - Formats the specified text as a thought, i.e. . o O (Text)
/follow Username - Starts to follow the username specified.
/follow - Stops following the user.
/invite Username - Invites the user specified to the current room if they are online.
:Text - Formats the text as an emotion.
/help Lists these commands in the Yahoo! Help, although not as detailed :-;.

Formatting Codes

There are a number of formatting codes, Similar, BUT NOT the same as HTML.

<b>Text</b> - Makes the text Bold
<i>Text</i> - Makes the text Italic
<u>Text</u> - Makes the text Underline
<font face="fontFace" size="size">Text</font> - Makes the Text the font face specified, the and the size specified. The size is in pixels, not the standard HTML font sizes.
<colour>Text</colour> - Makes the text the specified Colour. e.g. <Red>
<#RRGGBB>Text</#RRGGBB> - Makes the text the specified Colour, in HEX format.

Hyperlinks are automatically converted, so just ensure you preceed the link with the http:// or the www.
